holt rinehart winston - first edition 1981 - £100

I bought this apocalyptics almanac new from the greatly missed Compendium bookstore in Camden way back when the area meant something. It has stuck to me like a curse ever since. Truth be told I don't want to part with it. But I see it as a good statement of intent to open up this no doubt failure of a venture by whoring off something close to my heart. This edition is going on e-bay for 80 a man down the Charing Cross Road is touting it out at 120 i'm pushing it to you for a hundred... why? because there's something about your face...

the lively ones - capitol records - £10

Includes such classics as Nina never knew, The Lively Ones and Laura. The orchestra is conducted by Billy May. It is in stereo and i'm not quite sure of the provenance of this artefact other than that it was mass produced at the emi plant in hayes middlesex in 1962 and highlighted Vic at the height of his crooning powers. God is in the details check the cuffs of the sleeves of his four button Brooks Brothers red cardigan. those two chicks, they know.

white label - £20

I'm not sure how much record collector have on this but i'm putting it out for twenty. would it be far fetched of me to say this is one of the great singles? Yes!

Func 9049 - £5

A truly monumental artefact. this particular copy once belonged to Taales and came in a job lot retrieved from his attic. the tapes defining characteristic is an obscure message scrawled on the front that says 'don't you remember L xxx' liberace himself gazes winsomely out of an oval gilded mirror on the gaudy yellow sleeve, candelabra ablaze, hands stroking the keys.

pan paperback - second edition 1962 - £10

Classic English pulp job. The blurb on the front says it all. Edgy sensationalism with a strong conservative backbone basically.
