School Desk

Painted a pale, almost canary yellow with double recesses. I'm giving this away but you will have to go fetch it yourself. It is currently in the alley behind Gibson Gardens just off Stoke Newington High Street where it meets Stamford Hill. The desk contains an empty cassette case that once contained a tape of latin American sounds. A battery charger, a religious icon and a smattering of pennies. It is lined with yesterdays papers and they're marked with an article about the Gallagher brothers that concerns the usual sibling rivalry and cocaine backbiting at a party somewhere. The desk itself is a thing of worn beauty. I recommend you get yourself around there. Tell me how you got on and what use you made of it, please.
